Mission:
The mission of the Legal Committee is to provide support and advice to candidates, Democratic officeholders, and the Harris County Democratic Party on all legal matters relating to elections, running for office, holding public office, operations of a political party, compliance requirements, and similar matters implicating legal concerns or otherwise coming within the purview or expertise of lawyers, and to assist the Party in the prosecution or defense of such legal disputes as may arise in connection with the Party’s activities, functions, or interests.
