Coordinated Campaign: Weekend in Review

This weekend the 2010 Coordinated Campaign was out in full force, reaching out to our community through block walking, attending community and local Democratic events, such as our participation in the “Back to School Bash” at the Pasadena Mall.

On Saturday, Coordinated Campaign staffers knocked on over 200 doors in House District 133, inviting voters to attend the grand opening of our satellite office with State Representative Kristi Thibaut’s Campaign. That morning, we were also out in Pasadena, engaging over 500 families and handing out HCDP bookmarks to children. HCDP Outreach Directors Jerry Peruchini and Esmeralda Rodriguez spoke to children about the importance of reading and their parents about the importance of voting this election season.

Our HCDP Chair Gerry Birnberg, was proud to present the 2010 Coordinated Campaign plans at the “No Hair Rally” hosted by the Spring Democrats and local Senate District 7 Precinct Chairs. We were also delighted to speak with the Oak Forest Area Democrats about the various ways in which they can get involved and help us reach out to voters this election season.

Finally, on Sunday, we attended the Katy Area Democrats’ annual BBQ and picnic and were pleased to see so many of our candidates and elected officials out there.
