Staff Spotlight | Ollie Stevenson, Voter Registration & Mail Ballot Program Coordinator
Ollie Stevenson is the Voter Registration and Mail Ballot Program Coordinator for the 2010 Coordinated Campaign and we are delighted to have her on our team once again! In 2008, Ollie worked tirelessly with over 300 Deputy Registrars as the Voter Registration Outreach Coordinator and helped bring in over 100,000 first time Democratic voters in Harris County. She also contributed heavily to the 2008 Get Out the Vote effort through various phone banking and block walking outreach efforts.
Most recently, Ollie was the Director for the Primary Team this past March, which was instrumental in the success of drawing over 100,000 primary voters, which is a big difference from the 35,000 that came out in the 2006 gubernatorial primary. Ollie has already begun voter registration outreach efforts, with our first concentrated effort this past weekend at the Free Press Houston Summerfest, where we were able to register almost 100 new youth voters.
