Meet the Coordinated Campaign Staff | Natalie Rovira, Precinct Chair Coordinator
Natalie Rovira is the Precinct Chair Coordinator for the 2010 Coordinated Campaign and we are lucky to have her! Natalie has spent the past four years tirelessly working in local and state politics ranging from Legislative Aide for former State Representative Juan Garcia III to Deputy Campaign Manager for the Kendra Yarbrough Camarena Campaign. Additionally, she worked as Legislative Director for Representative Armando Walle, where she was the Human Services Chief Policy Advisor, drafting and implementing successful legislative initiatives in the Texas House and Senate.
Natalie also is a graduate of the prestigious Annie’s List Campaign School where she was trained first hand on campaign strategies. Prior to her time as a Campaign Consultant for Annie’s List she received hands-on training in the following areas: election analysis, opposition research, messaging, fundraising, event planning, voter outreach, field organizing and media. Most recently Natalie was responsible for executing city and statewide candidates fundraising plans in her role as Fundraising Coordinator for Lone Star Strategies.
Precinct Chairs are leaders in their community and will be essential to help keep grassroots movements strong. As Precinct Chair Coordinator, Rovira will be instrumental in developing and executing their organized efforts. She will be the first point of contact for all Coordinated Campaign efforts for our Precinct Chairs. She has already begun building a strong strategy for Election Day 2010 relying heavily on a precinct-by-precinct GOTV strategy. If you would like to know more information about Precinct Chairs or get involved in our campaign efforts, please contact Natalie by email at Natalie@hcdp.org or call her at 713.802.0085.
